Coronach | land of thE lIVING sKY mENTORSHIP

Artist Stephanie Bellefleur incorporates mentorship into all her mural projects, supporting youth specifically marginalized folks who dont have access to art in culture. Here Stephanie is teacher her Mentee Amanda how to use both aerosols and brush techniques on her mural land of the living sky, in Coronach Saskatchewan. Amanda identifies and an Indigenous Artist reclaiming her Indignity and practicing her culture. Stephanie is an Art Ambassador of the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund. Reconciliation and working with Indigenous groups across Canada is a large part of Stephanies practice. Stephanie has works with a wide age demographic of students and artists to help expand their knowledge and practice around public art. Some of there projects include, underpasses, bridges, indoor school mural projects, concrete jersey barriers. Stephanie has worked in both the private and public sectors incorporating arts curriculum in order to fulfill objectives and meet the needs of every community she engages across Canada.
